Minutes, Conservation Commission, June 30, 2016
Pursuant to Chapter 131, Section 40 MGL, the Tolland Conservation Commission held public hearings June 30 2016 at 5:30 PM at Tolland Town Hall, 241 West Granville Rd, Tolland, MA
The listing of matters discussed at the hearing. were those reasonably anticipated by the Chair and posted.

HEARINGS began 5:30
- RDA- Barbara Coleman, 90 West Otter. Applicant seeks to remove a variety of trees including beech, diseased hemlock, maple and pine totaling 36. These trees are located in the buffer zone of Otter Pond. Site visit confirmed need to remove trees too close to house, and dead trees, diseased trees, and damaged trees amongst other surrounding trees. Trees will be felled by a climber, cut into smaller pieces and removed with a Bobcat. No erosion controls needed. RDA 2016-10. A unanimous negative determination was given
- RDA- Tennessee Gas Pipeline. Applicant seeks to perform maintenance work along pipeline within 100 feet of buffer zone of BVW. A site visit was made prior to the hearing. With site visit information, drawings and discussion, a determinatio0n was made that erosion controls of straw waddles, silt fencing, articulating water bars to redirect the water runoff, and flex concrete eroswion control blankets will be used during and after repair. RDA 2016-9. A unanimous negative determination was given
